ABOUT US

Established in 1924, Kedah Darul Aman Football Club (KDA FC) has a storied legacy in Malaysian football. Originally known as Kedah FA, the club rebranded to its current name in 2021 to reflect its deep connection to the state of Kedah and part of Malaysian's club privatization.

KDA FC has achieved significant success over the decades, notably securing consecutive domestic trebles in the 2006–07 and 2007–08 seasons—a first in Malaysian football history. These accomplishments include multiple titles in the Malaysia Super League, Malaysia FA Cup, and Malaysia Cup.

The club's home ground, Darul Aman Stadium in Alor Setar, serves as a fortress for the team and a gathering place for its passionate supporters. The official team colors, green and yellow, symbolize the state's rich heritage and are proudly displayed by both players and fans.

Under the leadership of owner Tan Sri Dr. Mohd Daud Bakar (Darul Aman Football Club Sdn Bhd) , KDA FC is committed to excellence both on and off the field. The club emphasizes financial sustainability, strong governance, and the development of world-class facilities. Plans are underway to establish a FIFA-recognized training center, aiming to enhance player development and attract global attention to Kedah.

Beyond its on-field achievements, KDA FC is dedicated to fostering community engagement and nurturing local talent. The club's youth development programs are designed to identify and cultivate the next generation of football stars from the region.

As KDA FC looks to the future, it remains steadfast in its mission to elevate Malaysian football and bring pride to the people of Kedah. With a rich history as its foundation, the club is poised to achieve new heights in the seasons to come.
